Miguel is a clinical neuroscientist focusing on the communication between the gut and the brain. Miguel is currently the Head of R&D at the UK’s leading kefir manufacturer, Chuckling Goat. He is also involved in ongoing clinical research on the gut microbiome and mental health at the London-Agri Food Innovation Clinic, a research unit hosted at the School of Applied Sciences of London South Bank University created by the European Regional Development Fund. Miguel also sits on the steering committee of the Primary-Care and Community Neurology Society and is a Lifestyle Health Ambassador Leader for the Lifestyle Health Foundation.
Miguel will present "The impact of (competition) pressure on the gut" and will be part of the panel discussion on Day 2 - session 3.
