Trygve Bergeland has 15+ years of experience in nutraceutical and pharmaceutical research, focused on advancing understanding of how nutrients function in the body. At Balchem, he leads scientific initiatives to strengthen nutrition knowledge. Previously, he was Vice President of Science at Kappa Bioscience, where he established the clinical trial pipeline for vitamin K2, and managed clinical documentation programs at Aker BioMarine, Clavis Pharma, and LINK Medical Research. He holds a PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Oslo, Norway.
