Dr. Mark Evans leads the Active Nutrition mission at Holland & Barrett, where he oversees the scientific evidence behind its product portfolio and product claims. His work bridges science and product development, translating research into credible, compliant, and engaging claims. He holds a PhD in Sports Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Dublin City University. Mark is particularly interested in how emerging ingredients, such as polyphenols, move from early research to mainstream adoption in active nutrition.
